Just got some jodhpur boots online. Tried them on and they really rub on the back of my leg at the top. Do they just need wearing in or should I send them back?

Mine needed wearing in, the elastic needs to stretch a bit, I wore some athletic tape where it rubbed until it staked off a little. you could also stretch the neck by stuffing with newspaper/plastic bags.

Yeah thanks! WAs going to start stretching them etc but not until I had decided if they needed sending back. My old ones were my friends old ones so never had this problem!

It's probably just because they are new, I remember mine were like that when I got them.

Most of my joddy boots have done this BUT I got a pair of lovely Just Toggs and lo and behold they have fit like a glove and NEVER pinched. Just the luck of the draw I think.
