Leather oil/conditioner

In the past I have used vegetable oil. It worked really well on an old breast plate I found in the back of the cupboard which hadn't been used for years. I had to do it several times over but it did work. I have also used it on odd parts of bridles that i have found and left the parts submerged in the oil in food bags for about 20-30 mins and it has worked well. Not sure if others will agree with this but it never hurt the tack I used it on!:o

I use Amerigo tack oil every now and then or on new tack which seems to do the trick!

For every day conditioning i use either naf leather food or naf leather balm, both of which are lovely!
