Leather reins with rubber grip inside "dressage reins"

Looking to buy some new reins but not keen to spend £53 on the sabre dressage reins or is £53 normal for a set of leather reins??????

what do people prefer? rubber/laced/plain/continental or these rubber lined leather reins

dont want to spend a fortune but not too keen on cheap rubbish either!

Love the rubber inside reins! It's all I ride with now.
I got a pair for about £20 recently.....rubber generally lasts about 2/3 years, although I have had a set which wore away but I expected it really.

Best pair I ever had was only £5..... Unfortunately the rubber dimples wore off so I had to find another pair....but I really should find a way of getting them re-rubberised!

I've always bought mine from Cotswold Sport:
