Does anybody know of any good leather riding boots for those of use with short, stumpy legs!!! I have a pair of
Rhinegold boots at the moment and even though they are the extra wide fitting they still arn't that comfortable!!

If it's any consolation, there is precious little out there for short, skinny legs either!! Why do manufacturers think that all riders are 6 ft models???

Have you tried ariat short boots plus chaps?

Have you tried Mountain Horse High Calibers? The alternative is to have gaiters and short boots, Tredstep are very good!

i have to have childrens boots as the others are too tall for my shorties - mountain high sportative - dont know how big they go up to but mine are 5 1/2 i also think they do calf fittings they are lovely boots x

I have the Tuffa Norfolk boots, really comfy to ride in and they fit my short fat legs. I do find they are generous in size though, mine are a size smaller than I normally take in boots.

I've just bought some Mountain Horse Sportive High Rider boots. They fit my short fat legs perfectly.
Otherwise equitector can make you a pair.

Another vote for the MH Sportives, from another stumpy fat legged person

! The leather is very soft so they've been comfortable from the start. Not quite as smart as other leather boots though.

Hiya, I could not get sarm hippique boots short enough, but Sergio grasso do a boot and it is amazing. They can do any size or shape you want and they fit like a sock, the leather is so supple you can roll it up!! They did cost £275 but they were well worth it and look the business!!
