I am going on a break with my OH for 5 days. Have arranged for my sister to check horses every day before and after work. Trouble is the grass is coming through and I am thinking will they be ok out all the time. They are normally in during the day. I am trying to make things easier for my sister and also dont really want the horses stuck in stable from 7am to 7pm. Do you guys think the horses will be happier out .

yes if i could mine would be out now but then id be there to nip down if it got too cold

As long as they are supervised I don't see why there would be a problem. Although you may want to get them on the new routine a few days before you go away so they are used to it. You could always strip graze with electric fence if you are worried they are going to get too much to eat.
