Leaving Shy for two whole weeks....

Left him tonight stuffing his face, YO with full instructions, mended his grazing muzzle, rasped his feet, bathed him, conditioned him, groomed him to within an inch of his life, and sat in the stable jibbering away to him. Washed and scrubbed everything,bottomed and disinfected his stable, locked everything he won't need away, all numnahs and rugs been washed, nothing left to do. He will be very safe and happy doing nothing !! He's only five, and he deserves a complete break.

BUT I will miss him so much - the emotional attachment is so strong. I know once I'm away I'll feel much better, but urgh, it is hard isn't it.

no, I have to go or hubs will divorce me, lol..

Not a hardship really - Marmaris, 5* hotel, then gullet, all for bloomin £800 odd all inclusive - rude to say no really. (Secret Escapes online I think, lol)

Oh and my ferrets went for their hols at a really nice cattery, they are going to adore the attention !!

Lol maybe not such a bad thing, think of all the horsey time you would have without him moaning, I know mine is constantly moaning " you love that fat coloured thing more than me "

He does indeed. Have even asked YO to email me some piccies to keep me going, but have not told hubs that. Is that really, really bad ?
