Does anyone know of this place or go to this place?I used to ride there when i was 11 years old and i am now 23,i was wondering if anyone could tell me of any horses which are still there as i have got some good memories from some of the horses and ponies?cheers.

I rode there about 2 years ago - did my Stage 1 and rode Shadow (think he's near retiring) and a small 14hh cob called Marley who was a neat little jumper...also a big 17hh horse that only the staff saddled up?? I can't remember the rest..

I play horseball there, and yep Marley is still around and is a dark bay cob i think, ridden him a few times! I don't know shadow, but as I only do horseball there I don't know most of the horses! I think some of their ponies are old timers though so you may remember them - there's a bright bay called Oliver (maybe 14.2/3ish) who has been there ages i think!

Yeh i remeber oliver!I cant believe hes still around, bless him!Ok so i may as well do a list of the horses i remeber-

Bobbin
Martel
Jools
Opal
Slyvester
Scooter
Bugsy
Trooper
Shadow
Oliver
Red
Jamie

These are some of the horses i remeber,if i remeber anymore ill put the names on here.If it wasnt for this place i would never have been in to horses as much as i am now.

slyvester was a chestnut and jamie was a bay pony,i am so suprised some of these horses and ponies are at this place.

I'm not sure they would be the same ones I recall - I was there in the late 80's as a working pupil back in the day when Judy Cammaerts (now Harvey) ran the place....can remember Ben, Solo, Dutchman, Swallow and a huge grey called Jamie....

Wasn't Red the former dressage horse (big chestnut) - he was lovely to ride. I also rode that big 17hh one I can't remember (staff used to tack it up as it nipped!) and Oliver was the school master type - quite old. I had a soft spot for Marley.

I am sure thats what what red used to do but dont hold me to it as it is quite a while ago.I am sure the one who nipped was either bugsy who bit me!or trooper who was bigger?Oliver was lovely such an easy going lad he used to be.
