Our little HHO Christmas rescue pony should be finishing his HHO relay at Hope Pastures around 2.30 ish tomorrow.

Any local people fancy a meet up to make his arrival an occasion :D :D

The location is in the link in my signature. I have checked with Amy from Hope Pastures and we are welcome.

Wonkey Donkey doesn't think he will be upset by a reception committee.

Anyone good at photography, we should record the occasion.

It looks like his new name will be Cracker, and just to remind you, this is his picture

And what a cracker he is :)

Again I am so sorry to have let you down :( but soo happy he will be given a 2nd chance, all down to you xx

You didn't let us down, it was always going to be difficult to co-ordinate a time that suited everyone.

And thanks but non of it is down to me. Its all down to Hope Pastures, Wonkey Donkey, Becca and Yeeharider. I've just sat here bumping threads :D :D

Can you make something of this with the local paper?. Hope Pastujres could do with the dosh I guess, and the publicity. It's just the stuff papers are looking for round Crhistmas.

And what a poppety he is. Well done everyone who saved him.

In a previous PM ive asked wonkey_donkey to take pics of him at his home :) i in turn will take pics of him having a little leg stretch at takeover to yeeharider and perhaps the charity could take some photos of him arriving then they could have a little picture documentary of his journey? Particularly poignant message at christmas time I think giving this little chap his second chance at life :). Please keep me updated of his progress at hope pastures :D

Interesting that Amy was just saying it was fate that Wonkey Donkey posted just when she did.

I rang just as Amy and Sophie had finished a home visit which meant a stable became vacant :D I think they would have struggled if that had not happened, although I'm sure they would have dont their best.

I think we should have called him Lucky, it does seem like fate that he got this second chance :D :D

I might come and pop along :)

Don't think I can bring much as the local horse shop is shut, but I'll try to bring something (already donated spare rugs to Crosskennan, so have none left!)

Can't wait to see more pictures - think my Dad was quite disappointed when his field wasn't needed! (big kid at heart!!!). Cracker is a fab name - got everything crossed for the little man :)
