Left over gastroguard

my horse was diagnosed with ulcers and I’ve finished the course of treatment but I have almost a full box of gastroguard left, I paid £500 a box so would like to get some money back and not put it to waste.
however, I know it’s prescription so I wouldn’t be able to sell on eBay, but would I be able to send it back or anything?

My vets will only take back and reimburse you if the item is unopened and all seals are in tact.

From what I remember it has a long life so I'd keep it for times of stress so you can give it to him/her in the future.

It’s worth asking but I do think Laafet’s idea of keeping hold of it just in case you need some more is a good one.

That was the plan, but change of situation means I’m selling the horse so no longer need it. I did think keep it just in case any horses need it but I doubt that. Thanks though!
