Wow...bay roan

She looks amazing..like a little horse foal rather than a pony foal.. I suppose the next question is how big will she make? Any idea?

Hasn't she changed a lot! I thought it might be a bit of shock to you all to see her now, LOL!!

I very much doubt she will change to grey now - bay roan appears to be her permanent colour.

I'm really not sure what size she will be; I still think she will only be around 13.2 - 14hh but she may surprise us. Dad is 15hh and mum is 12.2hh so anywhere inbetween is possible.

You said you would

Thankyou.
Wow! What a change, what a super colour, and so sleek, does she match that roan you bought a while ago? Is that him at the back there? What we need now to remind us is a new born picture too. She is just such a gorgeously chunky girl, and looks such a laid back person too, I absolutely love her.

OMG!

Tia she's huge and such a nice shape. I really do like her head.

She doesn't look grey around her muzzle and eyes does she? What did the colour predictor say as her chances of being a roan? Daddy has a lot of roan patches in his markings doesn't he? Do you think she'll still grey out?

The calculator said 56% grey and then the next highest percentage was bay roan tobiano.....well it was sort of right LOL!!

'Specially for Enfys and others who would like to see the compared shots.

Here is Legacy at 12 hours old:

Gorgeous! Such a change, in a relatively short time. I do love her colour and I hope she stays roan. But she may not, I take it? How lovely it must be to watch her grow and develop day by day

Thankyou Tia. If you saw the photos and didn't know you would never think it was the same baby! Nature is amazing isn't it?

Hi Tia
Your baby is exactly the same colour as my filly was at birth and at 15 weeks. She is now 2yo, and every time she changes her coat she gets more white hairs so is going grey...
Her mane and tail are still darker though. For the record, her mum was chestnut and her dad grey.
Your filly will be pretty whether she stays roan or greys out, anyhow!

She is so beautiful! I love seeing the updates of how she is doing. I assume she is as relaxed and happy as ever?! I also assume that you are still besotted with her!?

How long to go for Golden now? And how is Cloud? Still a chilled, marvellous Mum?

Oh interesting. Did you foal have a red head? And did she lose it at a later date? Legacy's Dad is a roan tobiano so it is possible that she will remain roan now.

Besotted with Legacy.......yup I still am, LOL!

Cloud has done absolutely brilliantly throughout, she is a wonderful mother, very laid back. She is happy to go out for rides for up to about an hour and a half now and Legacy doesn't mind; Legacy just goes off with her Daddy and Auntie Golden.

I am not so worried about Golden now; she is looking absolutely the right size for a mare who will be foaling in a couple of weeks. She is due at the end of the month so I am hoping she has a easy time birthing, like Cloud had.

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. Legacy is a pretty special little girl and yes she has the most exquisite head on her, thankfully she didn't take her fathers head, LOL!!
