..well as she was 10 days old yesterday and has been doing so well and there seemed to be no problems with Cloud and the rest of her herd, I decided yesterday that now was the time to start to integrate them all again. So I started with that herd's leader, which is Golden.

Golden was also the mare who became marginally obsessed with Legacy when she was born so I was a little concerned as to how she would be once they were all together. However in the past few days she has been very calm albeit still very attentive.

My neighbour came round just incase there was any trouble. It was needless though - everything went completely smoothly, so we sat and had a Corona instead

.

This morning when I went out to feed them, Golden stepped aside to let Cloud eat first - this is totally unheard of normally! Golden is still keeping a very low profile and not taking over and Cloud obviously is starting to trust her now which is a great step forward to putting them all back into their herd again. With Golden watching over her too there is no way anything untoward is going to happen to Legacy, at least not from the others.

Here's some piccies I just took a moment ago:

Aw bless. Tia, whenever you mention Golden, I imagine you to have the Silver Brumbie as main man! (Golden was the mare he nicked from the dark man!) Like you own brumby coral!

Good to see Legacy being accpeted

Missed some posts so only just heard the name - may I say how apt it is.

Obviously very hard work being a foal judging by most of the photos. The closeup - she is just gorgous.

Aw I want to hop in my car and drive over to come and play!

Such nice weather today (plus you did mention alcohol....) Unfortunately I have work and deadlines instead.

Thanks everyone

She's a very laid back little girl; but she's pretty frisky aswell. She certainly keeps her Mum on her toes.

The sun was good Emma.....but the alcohol was better

Believe it or not, but I am super-maternal now! Legacy is the main reason I've not been on HHO much recently....but she's definitely worth it!!

You notice how Legacy loves to lie down in all the de-hydrated winter poo! It must be very comfy.......

I'm really impressed with Golden though. She will be having her own baby in a few months time and it will be interesting to see how she will be with everyone else afterwards. She's certainly very chilled in here and seems to know protocol which is a big bonus. She's a good girl my Golden.

Awwww Tia!!!!!!

You've made my day! I just want to come over and snuggle-buggle-cuddle her!!! She's so cute and fluffy and oh so scrummy!

What lovely pictures. Bless her soul, she's so adorable.

I'm gushing....can you tell?

Was just looking at the pics with my OH and we both said that Legacy is obviously very worried at having Golden in the field.:p

How cute is she? Like my Mac, she obviously likes her rest.
