i want to contact a solicitor asap, so does any one have any details for a good equine solicitor??

What did the vet say when they came out? Do you think he will make a full recovery?

vets out tomorrow. i know i may of had him out before, but the horse is pretty off and i think winding him up would of done more harm, and to be honest id rather he was calm and not stressed more than anything, i dont think a bout of colic is what he needs. hes so uptight and on edge, its just not worth the risk. i do though have tons of pics. im just about to upload, and do a file so that i can take the laptop and show the vet all the before and after pics. and as i said before, the vet knows the horse well.

i also have the back up of his last owner who had had him since he was 9 months old (12 years)

and as above, to add to it seems he wasnt insured.

and yes i had a loan agreement, signed by us both and witnessed

horse went on loan, they wanted to buy him, went to see him fri night and to collect, money and found him in a awaful way, removed him sat morning. click on my name and then see users post should be there (the neglect post)

just on to the rspca, as i want as many reports as i can get.

I'd have phoned ILPH - watch out the rspca don't try and prosecute you which has been done before by them

i have, just left a message with someone to call me back, had thought that about the rspca, but as i have the loan agreement, and so many people knew the horse before he went, and i have all emails ect from the loaner.

he was at a livery yard befor so the lady can confirm the people came to see him and we loaded him up and took him ect.

Was the horse vetted before it went on loan to prove that it was in good condition and identify any issues which the lonee and owner would need to record and be aware of?

he wasnt vetted, bu tthe vet had seen him the week before he went. (he was up to an other horse pluto had a cut in his mouth i just got him to check him over.) and hed had blood tests done in october.

back was done in november teeth in july wormed before he went.... everything, he was fit, and as healthy as could be right down to a new set of shoes.
