you know when you buy a house, you have to declare if you have had problems/disputes with the nighbours. Do you know if this is the same for a piece of land?
Daisy just triple padlock all you gates and make sure your fencing is in good shape, take photos for insurance reasons and for the police and if you can get cctv cameras where you think you may have trouble.
thanks JR, my laptop is getting fuller by the minute with the regular photos i keep taking.
Where im going to be putting my horses for the rest of the winter is all new post and rail fencing with big solid wooden gates, all heavy chained and padlocked. Just cant wait to get the CCTV on.
Although I have been out of the "profession" for a few years now, you are (and always bave been) asked to give details of any dispute between yourselves and neighbours when selling a property. If you fail to give this information and this becomes known to the new owners during any future disagreements there are means by which the new owners can take you to court for failing to give this information. You should think very carefully before withholding any information from a potential buyer - this became a real hot potatoe several years back and I cannot imagine it will have changed since then.
