anyone recommend a cheaper livery yard please?

my yard is £33 p/w inclusive of turnout 7am, bring in 3pm. rug change am. an other bring in, turn out times = £1

£11 p/w hay or hayledge and straw. ad lib.

60m x 30m outdoor floddlit school
set of showjumps, 100 acres of hacking
about 15 min drive from my house in kirby muxloe.

i work very long hours and am fed up with having to ride in the dark and wet so would like a indoor school.
i dont realy want a riding school unless i can acutaly use the facilities!
dont want shows held every bloody weekend so i cant use the school which im paying for!

my daughter wants a pony and i cant afford 2 at this yard.
my freind will probably want to move too, as rooom for 3?

im not a snob so as long as the stables are safe and a decent size with a decent surface on the school im not fussed about "prettyness" you get good performances from your horse by proper work and feed not by pretty touches.

idealy id like to pay about £15 p/w

I lived in Kirby Muxloe for 10 years, in fact my father still lives there! But been away for so long now I wouldnt have a clue. Is there anything in Desford or Glenfield?

You don't want much for £15 then.Have you ever tried to buy a yard and school ,with decent surface.
You'd be lucky to rent a garage for that .I think you are doing quite well where you are ,If you have to travel to a yard to do it yourself in the morning that will cost you time and fuel. Also if you are riding at night using lights that also costs.Anyone running a livery business would go bankrupt at £15

i know i do like my yard, but there are plenty of yards for £15 with outdoor schools. i dont need services during the summer, may need them next winter.

im fed up with their standead of service though. the yo employs teenagers that dont have their own horse. not that this is a problem but when i say i want a FULL thick bed to the door with decent banks and i get a bed i wouldnt even give to a pony let alone a massive 17.2. i dont want her there on livery during the winter, they dont even muck out properly. and dont get me started on "Please dont fed my horse or turn her out". when i get down she has been fed and turned out so i cant ride!

i dont mind paying £15 for outdoor school or £30 for indoor school. its not the money just VALUE for money.

i know of yards with outdoor and indoor for £15 during summer and £25 for winter. this included turning out. its just a bit far for me, but im tempted.

actualy i think if anyone is daft enough to pay 10k per acre and then a further 60k for a school plus stabling they need to put their money elsewhere! they go bust even at 30p/w.

im talking about a farmer converting a barn or something.i do know of somewher near bradgate park which is £12 they do have a indoor and outdoor, but one can only guess at the state of it. but im going to have a look when i can get the deatils.

Yes, they are out there. Yard near me has indoor school, own stable, individual turnout, fab hacking, instructor onsite etc etc. I expect for whatyou want, you'd be looking at 25 a week at this particular yard. This is Market Harborough area though, so too far.
Have you looked in Horsewear house? Quite often have livery yard ads in there.

Ideally we would all like to pay £15/week for yard with decent size boxes, indoor school with reasonable surface. If you find one do let us know.

Unfortunately in all honesty I think your requirements for the price are unrealistic.

A friend of mine rents a field with no facilities for more than that a mnth. Sorry but I think you are getting a VERY good deal as it is!
