Lucky me, I just got a LeMieux Kudos Clear Arc bridle for my birthday. I expected one in this price range to be really lovely buttery leather but no... in fact, it appears to be coated leather, and very plasticky?

Can anyone say if they have noticed the same, and how they hold up? A cheapo coated bridle I owned in the past cracked badly and never felt good - oil just beaded on the surface.

I may have to send this thing back...

thank you

I have the LeMieux work bridle and it’s nice and soft. Not much help with yours I’m afraid, is it supposed to be shiny patent or something?

Have a search on the LeMieux web site, perhaps using the code rather than the name, and soo if it matches. Or send a photo to customer services and ask them?

I find the le mieux bridles do stretch easily over time, they are softer than some makes but they usually end up stretching especially if you use a lot of saddle soap/cleaner etc. we’ve had at least 3 different ones and I don’t bother buying now!
