Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a decent travel rug for over winter.

We travel with no back doors and whilst he is fine unrugged over summer, I'm thinking it may be a little cool when fully clipped.

I was looking at thermatex but I think it might be too thick to use in all except the depth of winter.

Has anyone any experience of the lemieux 4 seasons?

Thanks shoei

Isn't it a copy of the comfort zone lapel rug??

If so, my ID mare has one, and always travelled very well in it. She is hunter clipped during the winter.

I love my Comfort Zone lapel rug. I'd say it's thicker/warmer than a Thermatex though. Gutted they went out of business :(

I did have one yes and it was exactly the same as my Comfort Zone Lapel. Both really useful handy rugs.
I would imagine though if a Thermatex is too warm this may well be too.

The Four Seasons is a thick almost shearling fleece, and doesn't wick as well as Thermatex so absolutely warmer. You can get a thinner version of the Thermatex which I have and it is perfect for travelling my big lad even when fully clipped and in cold weather, although we do have a box which is warmer

I love the four seasons rug, but it is very thick and heavy. I definitely wouldn't travel a horse in one, even clipped in the dead of winter
