LeMieux lambskin pads - how to care for

Just arrived in the post, my luuuuurvley LeMieux rolled edge dressage square brown with taupe lambswool, its beautiful and i want it to stay that way as rather expensive so whats the best way to take care of it, how do i wash it without the wool going weird and tatty?

I hope to have a fair amount of usage from it, seems lovely quality and has the reinforced loops and reinforced part where the girth passes through.

Its going underneath my new WH saddle

Use human hair conditioner on the wool before putting it in the wash.

Line dry then brush it out

i have a lemieux half pad and its lovely i put hair conditioner on it then dry it on the line the brush it with a clean dandy brush to fluff it up and keep it lovely and soft without going weird
