I have my two horses in a field together and normally they don't take any catching at all, but now and again, when I go in to catch them, they look at each other and gallop like hell, farting and bucking away from me up the field. Now rightly or wrongly I think they are playing and i join in and say "Right now you two are for it" and chase them loudly whilst laughing up the field. They generally do this twice, then look at each other again and then both stand still to be caught. What do you think? Anyone else have this?

yes I do exactly the same with my boy when I can not catch him. He stand there and watches me after he has done a runner but will let me catch him after I have chased him.
