Had a lesson with a dressage instructor over the weekend.
The pain is horrific today! She really works on your seat and lengthing the leg, trotting without stirrups over poles etc. Got the ned doing some really nice work (before i got too tired!).
Her overall opinion was more leg, less hand and correcting my 'pram pusher' hands! I need my legs soooo much stronger!
'straightness, impulsion and consitency' is they key! It felt like my legs were really far back, but although uncomfortable i felt secure and more able to influence the horse. I felt like a numpty with how much needed correcting!
Does anyone know what the best exercises would be at the gym to help me?
