Lesson learnt today!

I have been riding my friends horse all week as she is on holiday for a month!
Today I learnt a valuable lesson! I always ride with a body protector on and today I didnt!
Horse flips out in the school bucking and rearing then bolted. I couldn't stop and he jumped the gate!
As he twisted I fell off straight onto my left buttock on concrete! OUCH!
Not sure if the body protector would have made any difference but I am so annoyed with my self!!

Think I will be lunging for the next few days!

I will ALWAYS wear it now, no matter what I am riding!!

I have a grazed bum!! Stupid sticky bum breeches! I am down A&E as my mum worries about my back as I have a curved spine. Its feels more muscular then bone pain. Still can't believe it! All in front of the horses owner too! Just glad he was there otherwise I would have been on my own!!
