When your horse is hopping lame always call the farrier first, (although in my defence I did try my farrier, but as he was not immediately available, panicked and got the vet out instead).......
When the vet 'mis-diagnoses' a simple abscess for a serious stifle injury, do not then spend hours on the internet scaring yourself silly over the implications of said 'mis-diagnosis'......
After 30 yrs of horse ownership you would have thought I would know better!
