(Have just written a really long thread, then HHO crahed so will try again)

Up until a few weeks ago I had never heard of Peter, until my friend started sorting clinks with him. Her daughter goes to them (also my friend) and they invited me to go watch, I'm funny about RI's (international riders or not) I'm not the easiest of people to teach. (Thank god for my RI!!!)

Anyway I went along and watched her lesson, Peter was brill, he made so much sence and got my friend and her horse going like I've never seen. So I booked a lesson

It was brill, I have this thing of pushing my heals right down as in about 3" down!! Petre explained how this is making my hips tighter, and moving my weight off the stirrup ion's. He got me to move my knee up so I was standing on my tip toes then he said just let your leg and foot drop and relax. I thought what the hell difference will this make???

Well it made a HUGE difference, King could move under me and it was fab. He showed me how different my "gap" between my legs would be if I relaxed my heal a bit. It goes from a ^ shape to a rounded one, pony is deff a rounded one. (He explained much better then me)

I have homework to do and will be telling my RI on Wed what he said and did. Without my RI I would never have the confidence to do half the things me and King have done. So here are some pictures.........

If you ever get the chance to have a lesson with Peter I would say take it with both hands, he is brill at looking through any c**p you try to give him and he also said my pony has one of the nicest canters he's seen in a long time. So this makes me like him even more :D :D

Sounds like a fantastic lesson!

I kind of know PdC because he used to work at the YRC with my old instructor, but then went to the US for quite a few years (and amongst other things designed the Ansur saddles, now Total Saddle Solutions). It was my old instructor who suggested I try a TSS saddle when nothing else was working for R and it was a god sent! I know she still trains with PdC and really enjoys her sessions.

Just seen this thread... I have lessons with him too (although not at the minute as my horse is currently broken and off to the vets for x rays tomorrow!). Glad you had such a great lesson. I agree he is brilliant and has done wonders for my riding and my horses way of going. :)

And I think your horse is lovely - I love his markings. :)
