Well as i posted a few weeks ago i had a lesson with Richard on Tuesday at Boomerang. And i do believe the other 2 there are also HHO members - so hello!!
Have to say it was a great day - arrived at 1.30 ready to get on at 2.
1st of all we said our hellos and what we had done then went to warm up - he was a very good boy with the others and i was very suprised that i didnt have the least control
Then we set about jumping and he went in to ye haaa mode so we then tried walking in to fences then breaking in to trot then jump! That worked very well for gogs and he stayed calm for most of the time. So if he wanted us to canter we troted in and if he broke we cantered if not we trotted. We did drops, water, jumps into water and out of water, skinnies, then skinnies to skinnies on turns, ditches, skinnie to ditch and the other way round! And he didnt really put a foot wrong - well he decided water was very fun and you just HAD to speed up going in to in and at some points he was so relaxed he just went in to the fence and stoped!! Lol
So all in all it was fab and have to say a big thank you to horse mag who organised the whole day!!!
And here are some of the best pics if you havnt already seen them! (captions are below the pics if you get confused - as i usually do!
