Hello,

I’ve always wanted to get into horse riding, and have finally decided now is the time! I’m about to turn 30, and have been trying to look into lessons for adults. We’re on the West coast of Scotland, and I’m struggling to find places. I contacted Kelburn equestrian centre, but they only do lessons for children, and I’ve been trying to get a hold of Ingliston equestrian centre but haven’t had any replies.

Does anyone have any recommendations of places that might offer lessons for adults in this region?

Thank you!
Paula

I used to do pony rides at Kelburn when I was a kid. Unless my recollections are very wonky, @EventingMum on here runs an RS out towards Helensburgh (loosely speaking, at least).

may be too far away from you, but Morris equestrian centre, at Fenwick, has a riding school which does lessons for adults
