Hello!
I recently moved West to the dark side (ahem, Glasgow) and need to find a riding school that does lessons for Intermediate/Advanced level riders (if any exist?). At present I don't have the time or money to have my own or a share horse or anything like that. I was previously at Houston Farm but could not continue on there as it's a bit too far away now :-(
Does anyone have any experiences they can share (PM if you prefer) of yards near Glasgow? In particular anyone does anyone have any views/experiences with Colgrain EC, Tannoch, Busby, Easterton, Hazelden or Ingliston?
I've read the other posts, but they don't tell me much other than somewhere is alright or not alright. I'm used to riding in open order so I can learn to work on the horse properly which worked wonders for my riding so I kinda dread being stuck somewhere where you are always stuck in a ride, circling to the back and such things.
I plan to visit to get a feel for them, but it would be great to have more info to help with this most important of decisions!
Thank you!
