As you may know Patrick is out of action for a few weeks so I was wondering about having some lessons on a school master or going for some lunge lessons somewhere, trouble is I have no idea where to go. Can anyone recommend anywhere in Essex that would offer this please?

The only person I know of who used to do that sort of thing was Anita Darken or Theresa someone who was based with her, but I'm a bit out of touch with that area at the moment.

Hallingbury Hall is very close, I didn't realise they still did this sort of thing, thanks. I am west of Chelmsford.

My friend has just moved her horse from full livery there so I can check what they have if you like she moved to shenfield only reason she left?

Yes please if you don't mind.

Now that looks nice too. Am also going to ask my instructor if he knows anywhere I can go and any horses I can borrow.

Sorry to barge in - both those places look brilliant, I had never heard of them. I live in London and don't have my own horse at the moment and am desperately missing some quality lessons with really good instructors and horses.

Jo C - if you do go, I would be very interested in hearing your opinion on the place.

Hi Jo. Great idea - I may well come and watch if you book something and wouldn't mind?!
Doesn't Patchetts do something like this too - don't think that's too far is it?

Course I wouldn't mind - you can pick me up when I fall off!
