Hi all,

Does anyone know any yards or showjumping teams that give lessons on schoolmasters?

I am currently in the UK and i would like to hear a different perspective and new comments on my riding.

Thank you

Firstly anyone offering lessons on their horses must be licensed to do so - please ensure you’re dealing with someone working to the rules and regs.

What sort of height are you thinking? Talland, Ingestre and Wellington all have sj schoolmasters up to 1m/1m10 and will certainly teach you a lot. Prestige then offers the next level up I think

Robert Smith Equestrian in Warwickshire offer clinics both on your own horse or on his competition horses.

Ahh nice example of my post - not actively listed with Warwick council for hiring out of horses…

Anna Jellis at Weston Warmbloods - www.westonwarmbloods.co.uk - does this. She and her mother not only breed and compete at top level, they also have a riding school and offer lessonss on competition horses.
In view of the somewhat negative comments I would point out that Weston Warmbloods run Ampfield Riding School in Romsey, Hants. It is BHS Approved. They also breed top level show jumpers. Anna Jellis currently competes her home bred stallion up to Grand Prix level as well as producing many younger horses.
