Mornings are a huge rush for me as they must be for most horse owning parents. We literally feed, rug and turn out before work and school.
Saturday mornings for me are like heaven. Little jobs get done at the yard and we have a long hack before a super grooming/neatening sessions. My daughter lives for Saturday mornings aswell. I dont know why its just so nice to get them done, I then work a sat pm.
I desperatly need lessons really. My riding the last got knows how long has consisted of "tryng to stay on" and get my horse to hack safely or gently hacking my horse with joint problems. (no schooling) this has left me VERY rusty and now i dont feel able to school a horse! I just seem to wander aimlessly and worry im not achieving much (im not!)- trying to stay on horse has the knack of this hacking buisiness and agree's its not so exciting now needs some serious schooling.
Ive spoken to an instructor who i like the sound of but it means i have to work a saturday morning to finance it :-(
My daughter would be really upset and we would both miss our morning together. Also id be pretty knackered and probably get a but disheartened if i never had time off?
Opinions?
