Sadly the stables I'm currently at are coming to an end due to the lady there retiring. I've spent around 3 years helping out and riding there, I have learnt so much from the place! My parents agreed that after the stables closed in a year or so time they would let me have the experience of owning my own horse ( well sharing one with my cousin who rides with me and helps out)
There are other stable yards around but they really don't appeal to me and my cousin :(
I am only 13 but I do have experience (thanks to the stables im at ) and I'm currently helping a friend of mine look after her 3yr old cob.
I'm really torn between carrying on or sharing a horse? I really need some help with this one

You could look for an experienced part loan horse or pony with your parents or a full loan if your cousin is helping out.

Ideal situation at your age would be sharing with someone as when exams come around you may find that you don't have the time for sole ownership, also if you go onto higher education then you don't have the heartbreaking decision of possibly having to re-home your horse
