How do you get them.
I have seen people on here having lessons with Geoff billington (i wish i could have one with him!!) and all sorts of other great riders

I had a lesson with Geoff Billington once and it was the biggest waste of money ive ever spent! He was doing clinics all day near us.He wouldnt let anyone jump over about 2' even the more experienced horses! I think he is a great rider and show man but wouldnt have a lesson with him again.

I was given one from Horse mag with Steven Smith, amazing.
I won one with Yogi B, because of coming 6th at intro champs,in the new year.I've just won one with Richard Davison from getting the highest percentage at a local dressage champ of the affiliated entries but lots of top trainers will give lessons if you ring them but most are expensive so choose wisely.
I've never won any before just my lucky year

I go to a clinic where Spencer teaches... Once you get on, you can go as often as you can afford

Well,I have found Partoow on here great for dressage and Steven Smith was brilliant and I have been back since but don't know if he does many.First lesson was over small fences and they had to be perfectly ridden Next lesson the fences were much bigger but the same principals and when he warms up at shows you see him walk over a pole just before he goes in, so they don't have to be big and impressive

we've been going to Paul Crago for SJ for about a year, had a fantastic lesson today, I really like him, love the way he teaches, & I can't believe how far we've come. PM me if you want his number, don't know where you are though.

As C_D said - just ring up and ask!

I have a sj lesson with keith shore about once a month - we found him through a thing called 'Rising Stars' which was a demo

I've won one at this years Your Horse Live with Ruth Edge, I just sent them a picture of my horse and what I do with him and they rung me and said that I'd been selected!!

Either that or just ring them... they are human too!!

Look out for clinics or lecture demos taking place at an establishment near you. We've had Spencer Wilton here and it's first come first served so just ring up as soon as you see or hear about them. If there is a fairly big venue near you that would be where I would start. Geoff Billington (Sp?) is coming and we've had Ian Stark and Jennie L-C

i have my showjumping lessons with joe whitaker. i got to know bout them because i am mates with him. but he does do lessons for any1 you just have to book i feel he is very good and for the person who was complaining geof wouldnt let them jump over 2ft is probably because you dont need to school over 1m20 or what ever fences all the time the important things is getting striding gettiong position and getting your turns correct not pointing ur horse and jumping at the top of the wings everytime.

Ruth Edge has dressage lessons with Judy Harvey. Usless fact, but there you go. Deefa whereabouts are you located in the country as that will have some bearing on who could be recommened, unless you dont mind travelling for miles.

Does Partoow on here teach? Does anyone know what area of the country she is in? I absolutely love the advice she gives on here and a lesson with her would be absolutely invaluable, i think.
