Hi
I have had to put my horse on loan for the year and will be getting him back in November. Have ridden a few times over the last three months but haven't hugely missed it but now the eventing season is approaching I beggining to miss riding. The whole purpose of putting Ed on loan was to save money so I don' have a huge fortune to spend but thought it would be a good time to improve my flat work. So I thought a lesson every couple of weeks would be good. However I struggling to find anywhere that suits all my needs. I would like to ride horse capable of elementary level dressage but can only have lessons in the evenings or on a Saturday or Sunday. Live in north worcestershire and would be happy to travel up to an hour. So anyone with any ideas?

I went to Berriewood for Stage 3 training, they might be worth trying. Otherwise I can only think of places that are prob over an hours drive... Talland springs to mind, or Summerhouse, which is not far from the M5, that might squeeze within the hours drive if traffic is good.

We dont have the greatest selection in these parts do we!!

How much do you want to spend?

I think you will struggle to get change from £60 if you want lessons on a schoolmaster with someone decent....

Hi
Have thought about talland but there prices are a little too high for me. Will give Berriwood and Summerhouse a look though. How is the showjumping going? All ready to start Novice this season?

There is somewhere at Tewkesbury which I can highly recommend.

There is Adderro too.

I just think Talland is about the going rate for a lesson on a schoolmaster with a deent instructor.

Hi. I could cope with the sixty pounds if it was a little closer to home. The petrol cost to Talland would put it out of my price range. Could you let me know the tweksbury number as it is a little close to me

Only managed to show jump a couple of times unfortunately due to the usual transport issues, but jumping well round 1.05m opens, so getting there!

Been dressage training too and won our 1st novice test at the weekend which was a shock but very pleasing!!

BE novice is looking like more of a possibility now...

How's Eddy getting on in his new home?
