I've just started up having lessons on my horse again after not having one for far too long!
Booked my first one for half an hour as thought I would keel over doing any more than that! Had an instructor I had never had before and it was brilliant - one of those lessons where everything just clicks. But felt like 1/2 an hour wasn't long enough. So have made the next one for a full hour as think it will benefit us more and the price difference is very minimal.
So question is - how long are your lessons?
And do you think an hour is too much for flat work lesson?

Thanks

no an hour's not to long in my opinion anyway. I regualry have an hour flatwork lesson. enjoy the jumping ones more though. have fun, i always feel tons more confident with an instructor their and its great to have things to work and improve on :)

I love lessons where it 'clicks'!

I have 1/2 hr lesson with my RI every week, would love an hour but can't afford it. Although I get there 10-15 mins early to warm, and usually end up over-running anyway, so closer to an hour really :)
