My boyfriends aunty has just had a book of hunting poems and paintings published, she gave me a signed copy of one yesterday and though not normally my thing, I loved reading them as I could actually relate to it!!


Heres a verse from one of the poems...

More of a mist than rain I'd say,
And warm November air.
When raindrops shone like diamonds,
And jewels in the hair.
The valley still and silent,
the horses pranced and shied.
The day was meant for hunting
And all were set to ride.
