lethargic horse

Should i worry? daft question in some respects but my lad today seemed really lethargic. He hadnt eaten his hay (same bale had all week and ate that fine) he had drunk some water but he just didnt seem interested. I checked to see if he'd choked and he seemed clear on that front- not blockage felt- but he just was dopier than normal. He put his head straight down to graze in the field and was still grazing when i left but i wondered if anyone else had experienced this? His routine hasnt been changed, he was clipped yesterday (dunno if that could be anything?!) and ate his feed fine in the evening.

Any ideas apprciated (btw i am not a novice! i do know what does affect my horse but i wanted more opinions!)

Cant offer any advice but my horse was exactly the same last night

Not worry as such but I would keep a close eye on him. He could just be having one of those days (dont we all!) but if he starts to worry you anymore or anything else happens, just get the vet to come out and check him over

Are his droppings normal and a normal amount?
Is he warm enough now he's clipped?

Take his tempreture. If temp normal I would just keep a close eye on him, Could just be having an off day.

If temp is high I would phone vet for advice.
