We always see threads about the new up and coming youngsters, but lets hear it for the oldies. The ones who have been there done it and ran out the other side (sometimes riderless:p)

Everyone post their pictures :D

This is B who I am sure you all know by now :p and she is 44 btw

She is feeling a bit sorry for herself at the moment and is lame on her front leg :( but here she is all photos taken in the last couple of months :)

When they first came in for winter, she was a bit ill and worried us all a bit

Ahh, hope she feels better soon. she is lovely, she's the one that goes for 'walkies' every day isn't she? :D

My oldie is only 18, so doesn't count yet, but looking forward to seeing more oldie pics on this thread :D

Will do more walk pictures as soon as I can, she managed to embarrass me and herself by galloping round and squealing on the end of the lunge line when I walked her down to the fields so she could have some grass

This is L, my friends ex hunter :) She's 15.2hh and is 32 years old, will be 33 in may. She is still in work but very light work, 15-20 min walk and a slight bit of trot round the school once in a while, just for the little kids to have a go on. She loves kids and really enjoys it, always has her ears pricked up and lookas after the kiddies very well.

Age is about mind over matter - if you don't mind, it doesn't matter.

No pics but I have the best fun with my friend's older gelding- he is somewhere between 20 and 25 (unknown history, she bought him about 10 years ago as an 11 yo but we reckon he could've been 14 or more).

We go on special 'fun hacks'- just me and him. He likes to do his best tank impressions (charging off and trying to canter on the road is a speciality)- usually we find a nice grassy spot for a quick canter, he absolutely loves it.

He doesn't do so much schoolwork really these days, he is enjoying a more sedate (yeah, right) pace of life these days :D

My boys are 17 (18 in April) and 21 (22 in June) respectively, neither looks or acts their age....the 21yr old esepcially, if he had the option he'd still be out jumping Grade B tracks (I don't do jumping lol) and riding him is never sedate! There's pics of both on my profile on here.
