You mean like this?

Henry, 14hh on his tiptoes, feathers to his knees and took wide saddles. True cob, albeit in mini. At a rally, one little girl once asked "Is he a Shire?"...

(this is part of the same series, Henry decided to jump the BE Intermediate skinny after the water- Al had washing line reins and no say in the matter!)

And just to prove he was proper cobby- this was him on the strictest diet of his life, fit enough to regularly compete at 1.10m BS and win and to do several 1.10m ODEs/ hunter trials...

This is mine, when I got him he'd forgotten how to jump it was that long since he had!

This is him jumping for the first time with me when I got him

If it makes it better, this is the same pony 12 months earlier with the same rider...

(for those who remain convinced that Al has only ever been given nice ponies/ horses... She does it all herself, she's just lucked out finding the diamonds in disguise!)

Here is George, a gorgeous cob who used to be owned by my friend and who I was lucky enough to ride years ago. He was fandabbydosey - this photo must've been taken about 12 years ago (?) when he was fairly young so we weren't doing anything major - he, however, had other ideas and decided he would clear every jump by about 12 miles, bless him, he loved it! :)

Oh dear you asked for it! These are a few from where I work, their owners run a trekking centre in Ireland and that's all they do until they come to us to be sold on their behalf, because we don't own them we can afford to be very picky. :) Some of them have a lot of hidden talent. :D

Fiona! We've had her over a year (cannot believe she hasn't been snapped up yet) we;ve recently taken feathers off though and she looks cracking for it! Has cleared up to 1.15m easy!

The lush Haze, miss him sooo much!

And Meggy, we clipped her and took her feather off and pleasently surprised with what we found! Jumped courses of 1.15m eyes shut and single fences much bigger :)

Told you that you'd regret it! I used to be a massive cob snob before I started my job now I would love to have one.

Love this thread! Started jumping my cob. First time we jumped was a bit of a disaster! Next time took her in the menage and once she learnt how yo pick up her feet she really enjoyed it. Going to try again in the school thenrunning go take her xc schooling this summer :) i think she will be fab once she gets going. She's 5 :)

Some fab cobs on here already! Here is mine. He didn't jump last year as he had problems with his feet so is just getting his confidence back. It was the jumping that made us realise his feet weren't quite right.

I am just a learner so my position is rubbish. But we love jumping.

But we do have a lovely time together when we go out to play...just need a bit more bravery and a bit less of a sense of humour from him! :D Oh, and a better jockey, but we'll get there in the end. :)

I am the same as you - my horse need a bit less humour going round and a better rider - but still fun. This is him stopping after an instructor told me to 'Ride him like I stole him'. So I did and he went 'Nahhhhh, don't think so' I came off about 5 seconds after this, the little b*gger.

She is not mine, but I have been lucky enough to do some Hunter Trials and ODE's on this gutsy mare! (sadly she is out of action this year) She is just awesome to jump and could probably out-gallop my Irish TB!! :biggrin3:

Here are some of my fave pics of her (all taken by her owners sister):
