Out of interest, who has got a tb'y type coloured, one that you think should have athleticism?
We have a very pretty mare at home who is nice, we are grappling with her lack of enthusiasm for ditches currently but she can jump, floats around with lovely paces and is sound as can be so far, and have been asked to breed her to quite a well known stallion over here, a compliment I think?I know she looks long backed here but she's not in person..must be the angle but here we go:

on the other hand this is a fab little pony, did up to pre-nov with me but definitely has cob origins I'd say

heres a pic of my friends tb X stallion Hillbilly!! AKA Fred, he's lovely!

i know he doesnt look like one but he is.
sorry its big

I had one on schooling livery over the summer, although he definitely had cob in him, I think he also had some tb or possibly warmblood in him as he had lovely paces, he just floated along, and also had a good jump. This was only his second dressage test and his first affiliated prelim, I think he got around 66%.
About 1/3 of the way down, ref no. 1318 1330 and 1346.

He's been sold on now but he was one of the nicer coloureds I've seen and he also rode beautifully, really good natural balance and rhythm.
