Levelling jumping arena

We are v lucky to have had a new 50 x 30 jumping arena put in at our yard, as well as the 60 x 30 dressage arena already there.

The only thing is, the YO insists we move the jumps out of the arena every time we have used them, to leave it empty so she can level it easily. Is this normal? It seems to detract from the point of having a separate arena to jump in, didn't mind moving fences at all when people were trying to do flatwork in there too?

Seems quite good to me - at least you know your surface is getting looked after. Would be worse if it was rarely levelled and got all churned up!

It's a good idea. It's virtually impossible to level the take offs/landings with the jumps till up.
Though if the surface is decent it shouldnt need levelling every time you jump....
