Levels of Dressage?

Can you dressage buffs out there point me in the right direction to find out all i need to know about the levels of dressage i.e level 1 level 2 etc as far as i was aware there are 4 but not althogether sure. How do these translate into our standard dressage classes?

Think i have answered my own question!

it appears to refer to the ability of the horse. Certain movements are given a certain level i.e medium walk = level 1 collected walk = level 2 extended walk = level 3. So if you were offered a level 3 horse you would know what movements a horse of that level is capable of. I think it is used mostly abroad.
 
I believe these levels are in USA. They do not do Prelim etc... but levels.. Have at look at US Web sites Dressage Today is a magazine which states this.

If you go onto USEF web site it tells you the movements required for each test!
