Hi, I want to get my LGV licence so I can drive our 7.5 tonne horsebox. I live in Gloucestershire, half way between Bristol and Gloucester. I want to do one of the intensive courses that last about a week n includes everything. Preferably driving my own horsebox? Does anyone know any good companies in my area that they could recommend?
I know I've got to have a medical done n get my provisional licence first, any advice?
Many thanks!

I don't know much about this, so could be speaking out fo turn, but I don't think you can do it in your box. What you will probably have to do, is do your course and test in their vehicle, probably same size as a Ford Cargo. However I am sure after you have passed, they will give you some additional lessons in your truck.

Good Luck!

I think its like your car test you have to do a theory test as well, i might be wrong. i dont know anyone who has used their own vehicle i am sure you have to use one of their wagons.
