Liability insurance (also in Cr)

Im looking into getting liability insurance - was going to go with BHS gold cover, however realised that BD do the same (+ mags etc)!

I am planning to join BD anyhow within the next 3/4 months (i hope!) but isit worth joining for the liability (and info!) cover now as i need it cause its not on my petplan policy??

its £71 a year compared to £57? BHS - so not much in it yet i was going to join BD anyhow - just not yet as my horse isnt quite ready..... however seems stupid paying twice for just cover....??

Or have i completely got it wrong?? (wouldnt be unusual lol!)

BD do an associate membership that gives you the insurance and when you join as a full member they pro rata the fee. It's the cheapest way to get 3rd party (but check any house policy you have as it is often included).

But i was planning to join BD as a member (full competing) at around xmas if the brown blob can manage it (im going to be having lessons weekly so should do it...)

however thought joining BD would basically kill two birds with one stone????

Make sure that the third party public liability cover is of £10,000,000 (ten Million Pounds) as a recent court case demonstrated that this level of cover is essential. BHS Gold is to this level.
