Update on Poppy's raw patch - the vet came out and says it is lice. She has left treatment (deosect to be applied in a spray bottle - what fun Poppy loves spray bottles - not!) or via a sponge - Hmm.
All brushes are being scalded in boiling water - probably end up buying new brushes, and her numnah is on a 90 degree wash cycle along with my coat and her headcollar and lead ropes.
I have to do spray treatment again in a fortnight and keep an eye on the raw patch she has created. Vet is coming back on friday to read a tb test so she will check on her again then. I may try t tree cream on that although that could sting?
Poor Poppy - I'm trying not to over groom her as she's out 24/7 but have done her a dis-service by not doing so as I might have picked up on this before she rubbed herself raw.
