At the moment mickey has got lice, and i have regularly been delicing him every week. but his fur keeps on falling out (also it doesn't help that X isn't delicing her lot). is there any other suppliments (sp) that i can use on him that will stop his fur from falling out, or even help it grow back. also should i just keep regularly delicing him (as i am doing now) to help prevent him getting it from the other horses (that X has got)?

I generally (my horse lives in field full of mangy ponies, therefore we have lice regularly) Find Coopers is much much better, and tends to get rid of them in 2 or 3 baths! It also doesnt make there hair fall out! You can keep using it all year round aswell as it can be used as a fly spray; without worrying aboout damaging the coat. I use it whenever we have any mangy horses in!

you will be throwing good money after bad if you cant get x to de-louse their ponies, it must be quite a bad infestation if fur is coming out, have a serious word with them and make them realise that it must be done because continuing to de-louse is futile unless all horses are treated that have lice!
