Help?
My horse does not stop licking me or any thing attached to me after a treat and quite often with no treat at all.
He licks mainly skin but if you turn away a coat will do as did my rubber boot for about 10mins the other day, I owuld like to think its love but more often any human will do although I am 1st choice
He has a well balanced diet (IMO) alfa a oil, dodson and horrell build up mix and speedibeet, with hay or haylage depending on the time of day, grass (nearly obviously) he gets lots of carrotts, apples in his feed too. He has a mineral lick in his box and eats straw as well
Is he just super grateful and affectionate or do I need to find the missing thing? He will lick my hand clean and then go back for more 10mins later........I just want to make sure he is not deficient in something?
