Just saw the news about Liebling being taken away, that's awful. Anyone know why? I was gutted for her that she didn't go to Olympics - was there more behind her lack of selection?

I think that is a very unkind way to handle the situation. Whether he is sold or not is ultimately up to the owner but to not give her the chance to say goodbye is a bit vicious IMO.

A little harsh against Carl Hester, he has obviously been asked to sell the horse, he is not stealing the ride. I'm sure that those closest to the matter know exactly why he has been taken away and up for sale. Including ARD.

Not wanting to restart an argument... but hasn't the artical on HHO news been changed?
I originally thought I had read that the rider had been called into a meeting and that when she came out the horse had gone. ( which I thought was a bit harsh) now the artical reads that the horse was removed later in the day.
No matter what the facts are doesn't this seem a little bit of censored/ sensationalist reporting?

odd yes.... sinister well that post was getting very close to the mark so am not surprised it was deleted
Like all things in life nothing is ever as simple and there is usually a lot more going on behind the scenes than will ever be told, and that is how it should be and how it should stay.
The thing is that changing that article does put all the posts now totally out of context.
