With all the trauma that has gone on with my horse, Chester, I feel like I've some-what neglected my old welsh cob so today decided to put that right. Now being a lady of maturing years and not having riden for very long, I'm always in awe of the girls on the yard who jump their horses. So today me and a couple of friends decided to give it a go. Yes he was awkward, yes he did spook at every available opportunity but YES I did jump my horse to the dizzy heights of 1'9" (in my mind it was 6 foot!). Absolutely exhausted now!

Oooh well done - I still have to find an opportunity to put my horsey, Jerry, over a jump! I've had him since July but still haven't tried jumping - I'm very good at coming up with excuses!

Awww well done

I recently got back into jumping after having quite a traumatic fall 18 months ago and was amazed by how my body responded automatically to jumping, good ol' memory muscles

Absolutely agree Pedantic! I thoroughly enjoyed it even thinking about getting a body protector now and moving up to 2'3"!!!
