Over the last few days I've been noticing some promising signs.
1)the horses have green poo.
2)they're not eating every scrap of haylage when they're in.
3)they're not hanging round the gate waiting to come in by 3pm.
4)the fields actually look green instead of a strange beige colour
5)they're diving for bits of grass on the way to and from the field because they're worth diving for
Could this be spring finally here?
Our lot will still be in for a few weeks as there's not enough grass to sustain them 24/7 yet, but for the first time I'm starting to believe they might get out this 'summer' after all. I was starting to think it would never happen!
