Whats is the definition of a lightweight, mediumweight or heavyweight cob? I hear people use the terms all the time but can't seem to find the difference? Is it the amount of bone rather than actual weight? Or height?

I have a little cob so was just wondering what he'd be classed as.

Thanks!

several inches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in bone! not height! not in fat either! i think cobs have a max height of 153 but could be wrong on this! but the weight is defined by bone!

No idea but I always call Bodey a Middleweight, as even though he has a big neck and body, his legs aren’t that chunky. But I could be totally wrong.
This is him, schooling the other day, what do you think?

A LW cob should have at least 8" of bone below the knee a HW should have a minimum of 9" of bone, there is no such thing as a MW cob. They are either LW or HW, it's hunters that are LW MW or HW. Can you post a pic??
