Wasn't sure where to post this but thought I'd get more eyes reading this in Tack Room.

Has any got any ingenious suggestions for lighting for a 20x40 school which doesnt involve running eletric cables from my stables through my paddock to the school?

Is it possbily to run some lighting from a battery or are solar lights any goods.....?

Any suggestions welcome!!

We have some solar lights in the yard which could be set up in an arena, I would think. The light is certainly good enough, you just need somewhere to put the solar panels where they will catch the light. Ours are on stable roofs, so it would depend on your set-up.
The Astron Solar Floodlights came from Amazon and so far seem to be working well.

Thank you, how effective are they. Was thinking one in each corner of the school with another each at where B and E are, shouldnt need any more than that should I....?!

Well we've had a few of those last week, in fact a couple of foggy days and some overcast ones and that light worked from when it switched itself on until after midnight, so should be fine for a school. We have some shed lights in the stables and they worked even in the worst of the snow last winter.
