I will be moving yards in a month or so, and as my new stable will be much bigger than my existing one, and I really hate the stupidly heavy rubber mats I already have, I am on the lookout for some new ones. They must be lightweight, light enough so that I can move them on my own. Horse will have a full and deep bed on top of them as well.

I have seen other people with lightweight interlocking mats. Do any of you have them, and would you recommend them? Which mats do you all have, and where did you get them?

Thanks a lot in advance for any advice.

I have the EVA matting from Robinsons and just a small amount of bedding. It's been down for about 9 months and is still as good as new. It is so lightweight, you can lift the whole mat with one hand. I've even used the offcuts as waterproof bedding in my dog's kennel!

Hi. I use easimats, you can get them on ebay for £260 for a 12x12 stable. They are EVA lightweight and I really like them, although they are not the interlocking ones they are easy to fit and can be cut with a stanley knife. Am currently saving up to get some for my other stable.
